Bombay Talkies

Bombay Talkies is four short stories. The first story was by Karan Johar is about young couple of Randeep Hooda and Rani Mukherji. They were living very happily till the time when Rani come across her colleague Saqib Saleem. The entry of this new man changed the lives of this beautiful love couple forever. The second story by Anurag Kashyap was about young Vineet Kumar who comes from Allahabad to Mumbai. He comes to accomplish the wish of his dying father Sudhir Pande. But keeping it suspense, it forms the remaining part of the second story. The third story was contributed by Dibakar Banerjee is about Nawanzuddin Siddiqui who was trying hard to get a break in films to prove himself to her daughter. Once he was watching the shooting of a film, he got the break and ultimately got chance to prove his potential. The forth story by Zoya Akhtar was about a small kid Naman Jain. He was belonging from middle class family in Mumbai. His strong desire was to meet Katrina Kaif and for that he was ready to face the society. Whether he fulfills the desire or not forms remaining story. An idea of the film about presenting various stories was totally innovative. All the directors have shown best presentation with great variation in stories. Love couple in first story has performed very well while Saqib was attracting. Nawazuddin acted naturally which is very appreciable. Vineet once again proved his versatility and Naman Jain has also attracted the audience. It can be said that Bombay Talkies is a tribute to Indian film industry that has completed 100 years. The film is very unique and different but it shows the true love and affection of Indians towards their great hero and heroine of Indian Bollywood who has been inspiring and entertaining them since century. The film is beyond the expectation and presumptions of audience.
