Benny and Babloo

The director has brought a provoking tale but fails to put it on the silver screen due to lack of narration. The presentation was of good quality, the script was standard, the dialogues was levelheaded, screenplay was disappointing, score of background and songs was the major letdown, the cinematography was ok, editing was reasonable, costumes and art department was realistic, talking about characters, Kay Kay Menon was as usual fantastic, Rajpal has again showed his best, Riya looks beautiful, Shweta was sexy, Rukhsar was orderly, Natassha was normal, Richa was matured, Maushumi was opulent. All others did not have much to show. The story begins with the character of two friends Benny i.e. Kay Kay Menon and Babloo i.e. Rajpal Yadav they both came in the dream city Mumbai. Soon they both get a job, Benny became a Bellboy in a five star hotel and Babloo became a waiter in a ladies bar. Benny always thought that his job is better than Babloo and he started humiliating Babloo. But after some time Benny comes to know the bitter side of the five star hotels and on the contrary Babloo comes to know the humanity side of the people working in the bar and their affections. What go off after that is the rest part of the story? Overall the movie is interesting but it can be improved if more emphasis is given on the scenes. The first half was more of comedy and drama side while the second half was having few realistic moments of life. The movie is a decent entertaining and attracts some of the audiences.
