Bandipotu (Eng: Bandit) is a 2015 Telugu comedy film directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti. The film is produced by Aryan Rajesh on EVV Cinema banner. Kalyani Koduri composed the music of the film. The title of the film is based on the NTR's 1968 film of the same name. Allari Naresh, Eesha, Srinivas Avasarala, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani and Sampoornesh Babu appear in important and pivotal roles. The film tells the story of a robber who always steals only the rich and when a lady comes into his realm how it transforms their life. Vishwa (Allari Naresh) is a notorious robber in the city. But he only robs rich people and thus have a 'fame' in the field. Once, for his astonishment a lady came to him with an unusual demand of robbering three richest people in the town. He though suspicious, later accepted the quotation and proceeds foreward. The three men were Makrandam, Seshagiri and Bale Babu, who were once best friends. Vishwa successfully robbed the first two by playing safe games. But before achieving his target the friends recognised him and he was in tight spot. The twist of the story comes from here and the rest of the story will answer all of your questions like, Who is Jhanvi really? Or did he succeed in roberring the third house? Or How did Jahnavi mislead Vishwa? etc. The film received many mixed reviews more than positive ones. With NTR's old title they tried to make it a hit but it succeeded only partially. Allavi Naresh appears in a different style in this film from his previous ones and this is the main praiseworthy thing of the film. There is enough commercial and entertainment elements to take this film to masses. In short it is a well told story with good humour. But some unrealistic situations and similarity shots with some other films make clumsy. The director failed miserably to fasten together the story in a realiable manner with all these characters appearing in the film. But besides all it is a one time watchable one.
