Bajarangi Bhijaana is a super hit Hindi action/emotive film of 2015 directed by Kabir khan. Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh are the producers of the film. V. vijayendra Prasad, who is the father of S S Rajamouli-Bhahubali’s story writer and director- has written the script. This is being an extraordinary event that both have accomplished their dream of making a superhit films. Actually these two BB’s (Bhahubali the Beginning and Bajaranji Bhaijaan) are making history at the box office, crushing the records of many films. Another peculiarity about them is that both the films were released within a week and were running competitively. The film features Salman Khan, Harshaali Malhotra, Kareena kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. All over the world the film was released in more than 5200 screens and in India itself screened in   4500. Another surprising fact is that the film was also released in 80 theatres in pakisthan with some dialogue cuts.

 Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the story of a pakisthani girl who went missing in India, their reunion after a series of struggle. Shahida (Harshaali Malhotra) is a Pakithani girl, who is a speech-impaired, came to India for a treatment in one of the Dargah’s in Delhi, with her mother. They prayed for her and started back to pakisthan. On the way, very near to the border the mother missed her daughter and went to pakisthan without her. Any how she reached kurushetra and met a Hanuman devotee, pawan kumar Chaturvedi (Salman Khan). He was also carrying another name - Bajrangi-because of the devotion to Hanuman and in order to save her from any harm tied a locket. He thought that she would be a Brahmin girl from somewhere in India. He called the speech-impaired girl ‘Munni’ and aked her to call him ‘Maama’. He was surprised to hear the word from her lips and called him ‘Maama’.  Bajarangi was a soft hearted man living with Dyanand and Rasika in kurushetra. Rasika was his lady love. Rasika’s father was a strict man and he demanded a condition before Bajarangi to give his daughter in marriage to him. According to it Bajarangi had to buy a house near by, within six months. He started to gather money for that purpose, when his so called Munni came to his life, which later flattened all his dreams. Accidently during a cricket match, he came to know that she is a pakisthani girl. Then he decided to help her to return to pakisthan. But things were not so smooth as he judged and Both the embassies of India and pakisthan abandoned her request telling that she did not have a leagal passport to produce. The twist of the story starts from here and bajrangi decided to cross the Indian border to pakisthan in order to search her parents. They had to face many hardships and at last a man came to their help as an angel! The story progresses to a thrilling climax, which finally reveals the real mind of the people of Pakisthan.

The film was received positively by many critics and the story which was an extra-ordinary one, standing separately with its humour, emotions and patriotism. This is one of the best received film in India and abroad and the first one to deal with a story about our neighbouring country in detail. Though they are considered as our arch enemy there are glimpses of light that reveal a hidden love towards India in their minds. Bajarangi finds many good loving people who are ready to help him in danger, and even a head of the Madrassa turn out to be a nice person before him. The director had succeeded in his attempt to mix religion, love and cross-border conflict in a right manner, without hurting anybody’s sentiments. The trio-Salman Khan, Harshali Malhotra and Nawazuddin siddiqui- are the real heroes of the film and they undoubtedly steal the show by their brilliant, exorbitant performance. From box office records itself we can see the success of the film and how it was received by the public. It now became the fastest film to gross Rs. 1 billion domestically and the second highest grossing Bollywood film of all time. Even now it runs successfully in packed houses around all over India and abroad and it is certain that it may creates new records in its ongoing journey.
