Avatharam

Avatharam is a Malayalam thriller film directed by Joshy. Udayakrishna and siby K Thomas produced the film under the banner of Four B Production. The film casts Dileep and Lakshmi Menon in Lead roles. The film tells the story of Madhavan (Dileep) who was leading a simple life in a village, later turning into an action hero to revenge the death of his only brother. As told Madhavan was a commom man leading a joyful life in one the villages in Kerala. He mingled in some social activities making company with his friends, with a bit of comedy and romance. His brother Sudhakaran (Gansh Kumar) Was working as a customs officer in Kochi. Once he was found dead in a mysterious circumstances and Madhavan went there to attend the funeral function and console the family members. There he befriends with a bank Employee ManiMeghala (Lakshmi Menon), who was an Orphan, brought up under the protection of her uncle, who was very cruel towards her. The uncle's son tried to play funny on her and so she hates them wish to be in company with a faithful person. As Dileep knew her more he started to love her and as were waiting for she loved him in return. But the twist of the story is that Madhavan came to know that the death of his brother was not normal and some vicious hands are behind it.He started his mission of hunting for the culprits. He was alone but the gang was powerful enough to challehge him. Can he overcome them to prove the death of his brother? What about Manimeghala and will she be with him during his intricacy? The film goes to a climax with some more twists in the middle and I won't slaughter your anxiety by telling the story. Avatharam received mixed reviews first and at box office it was not a success. From the usual track of comedy Dileep had changed to some serious roles and this time the viewers abandoned him absolutely and first half entertainment scenery by Dileep is the only memorable thing in mind. The rest is only duplication of some other films and the he himself have acted in such films many times and it is a good example that people won't suffer too much replication or over actions. Regarding the actress her role is very limited and nothing to do with, except to go with him in song sequences with traditional and modern clothes. The one important social message it conveys is that either a lady or gent we should not be afraid to face the law for the execution of our rights and if we are right, justice will be rewarded.
