It is the story of a remote ‘typical’ village (gramam) in Tamilnadu. There is romane, action, rivalry in the village. There is rich and poor, thieves and goons on another side. There are lovers and some mischieves boys who quarrels each other for their daily bread. The villagers suffers because of their constant squabbling and there was no development in the village. But all of a sudden all these were came to a stand still when they heard from their Chief minister that a meteor will hit their village and they should vacate the place without any delay. This announcement changed the life of the people in that village completely. They forgot their Rivalry and each one got the courage to break the fence of caste system, racism and economic inequality. In short the film deals with the immense depth of the relationship between the people and the various human emotions that are born when he is subjected to a larger than life situation.

It is a fascinating science fiction saga. But the experiment with the new comers (which was tried by many in previous years) was not that much successful and they failed in some strategic situations. Though it provides many emotional situations some scenes are no parity with commonsense. It tests your patience as some of the happenings are even remotely connected with the story. But It has everything to educate people and when faced with prospect of extinction, will prefer amity than enimity.
