Alone is an erotic horror film of Bollywood released in 2015. The film was directed by Bhushan patel. Kumar Mangat with three more others did the direction of the film. The film stars Bipasha Basu, Karan singh Gover, Zakir Hussain in lead roles. Alone is a horror film and tells the story of a cojioned twins, their love, hatred and swindle. The story starts in kerala in Cotwins house. During night a large branch of a tree falls on the outhouse nearby the building. It was so unexpected that the scene made their mother in coma stage. She was admitted in a hospital. Knowing this her daughter Sajana (Bispasha Basu) comes home with her husband, Kabir (Karan Singh). After reaching there she had some paranormal visions and she felt the feeling that the soul of her dead sister, Who was conjoined of her, were following her. Though Kabir was against such believes he send her to a spiritual healer, who was also a professor. To the professor she revealed all flash backs and told that her sister loved Kabir very much and does not like Kabir loving her (Sajana) too much. They sometimes quarreled over the issue. The news of Kabir's return from abroad made some unexpected events between them and they decided to separate and in that operation Anjana died. It was she who insisted on this operation more and she blames herself for killing her. But the professor gave courage to her and convinced her that it is only a result of guilt and nothing more. But later Ajana's soul really enterd in her and an exorcist came to help the family. But before leaving the body Anjana revealed that she was actually killed by somebody and asked Kabir to find out. The twist of the story starts from there and kabir started his investigation. The findings of Kabir were astonishing to him and she started to hate Sajana (!) who is the other cojioned twin with him. What were his findings? Does Sajana really love kabir. Who is telling lie? The story answers all these questions and finally an atrocious thing happened that tortured everybody. It received positive reviews and regarded as a good entertainer. Alone is considered as a horror film which deals with love and its consequences if it loses to someone. The director and the film crew succeeded in fulfilling their venture satisfactorily. Bipasha Basu has done a splendid job, acting two roles in stretch and Kran Singh in his debut film itself has taken audience in hand. The main drawback of the film is that it is a repeated story. The similarity even if it is identical can be detected by a person, especially by a lover. But in this story even after years the lover couldn't recoganise his lady love until she revealed it !. I like to conclude the review by quoting India TV satement and it goes : 'With some genuine scary moments and Bipasha-karan's scorching chemistry, Alone stands apart from numerous horrible horror flicks made in the past. Bipasha basu as a terrified lady in the beginning while as a ghost herself shines, Karan Singh Gover flaunts his acting skills with same exactness that he carries while flaunting his body when required'. It is a watchable film that serve up the dual dose of sex and horror.
