Mohit Suri is busy toying with the idea of Aashiqui 3 and Ek Villain 2. But nothing concrete has happened on that front. With the constant delay, it seems the filmmaker has now moved to another project – a romantic thriller. And he wants to rope in Kriti Sanon and Aditya Roy Kapur for his next film.

While Kriti is busy signing films after the success of Bareilly Ki Barfi, Aditya hasn’t had a film after his last debacle OK Jaanu. But a report in DNA suggests that Mohit is keen to cast Aditya for his next film.”Aditya has not had a release in the last one year after OK Jaanu. He wanted to try out something he’s never done before. He was Mohit’s first choice because they are great friends,” a source told the daily.
Kriti, on the other hand, has apparently given her nod. “They met a couple of times and Kriti and her team have verbally given the nod to the film. But they are yet to lock the dates and sign on the dotted line,” added the source.Reportedly, Kriti will give her dates after she returns from Chandigarh where she’s shooting for Arjun Patiala. The film is expected to roll out in a few months.

The report suggests that apart from Kriti and Aditya, the film will have another male actor. “It’s a love triangle between a girl and two boys. The hunt for the other male lead is on. They have also spoken to a few young actors and once they get a confirmation, they will announce the film,” added the source.
