But things started to change after Alia started working on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Ranbir.

It was on the sets of the same film that sparks flew between Ranbir and Alia, and the two started to date. After months of speculation, Ranbir finally let the cat out of the bag in a recent interview and confirmed his relationship with Alia.

Buzz has it that the news hasn’t gone down too well with Katrina, and the actress has kept her distance from Alia ever since.

But Alia has once again rubbished the rumours by posting a cute birthday wish for her ‘BFF’ Katrina on her birthday.

Alia, who is currently shooting for Brahmastra in Bulgaria, took to Instagram to wish her bestie. She posted a picture with Katrina and wrote, “Happiest Birthday @Katrina Kaif.”

Going by the wish, it seems all is well between the two, or at least from Alia’s side.

Talking about her bond with Katrina, Alia had earlier said, “I’ve known Katrina for a couple of years now. We’ve got to know each other organically. It all
happened when Kat and I started spending time in the gym. Today, shes someone who I can say is my friend. I know I can count on her when I’m in trouble and she can count on me, for sure. She’s got my back and I’ve got hers.”
