Janhvi Kapoor was spotted shooting for her upcoming film RoohiAfza. The film, which is directed by Hardik Mehta, also stars Rajkummar Rao. It is set to hit the screens on March 20, 2020.

Janhvi Kapoor, who dipped her toes in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Dhadak last year, is gearing up for her future projects. After wrapping up a few schedules of Kargil Girl, the 22-year-old actress has now begun shooting for Hardik Mehta’s RoohiAfza.

Touted to be a horror comedy, RoohiAfza also stars Rajkummar Rao. While the two actors began shooting for the film a few days ago, a picture of Janhvi Kapoor from the film sets has made it to social media.

Clad in an orange kameez and green salwar, Janhvi’s look reminds one of her first film Dhadak.

A video of Janhvi getting a warm welcome on the sets of RoohiAfza in Uttarakhand also went viral recently.

Earlier this month, Janhvi kickstarted the shooting of the film, and made the announement on social media. Sharing a picture of the clapboard, she wrote, “”Karne aa rahein hai aapke attention ko qabza, aaj se shuru hoti hai #RoohiAfza!

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, RoohiAfza is being directed by debutant Hardik Mehta, and will be released on March 20, 2020.

Talking about RoohiAfza, Janhvi Kapoor told IANS, “The shooting of the film has been going on really well. Whether you call me superstitious or old-fashioned, I feel if you talk more about your film, it will catch the evil’s eye.”

“So, I will not speak much about the film. I feel fortunate to be part of this film and to be working with people who are involved in it,” she added.

Apart from RoohiAfza, Janhvi will be seen in IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena’s biopic – Kargil Girl.
