Janhvi Kapoor has not yet made a splash in Bollywood, but there is a lot of buzz surrounding her debut film. The 21-year-old, who is set to enter Tinseltown with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak, sent rumour mills into an overdrive when she and her sister Khushi Kapoor were clicked walking out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office building.

But if you were hoping to see Janhvi in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, you are going to have to wait. A source close to the filmmaker’s team revealed that Janhvi and Khushi’s visit was not what it seemed like.

“Janhvi and Khushi didn’t visit Sanjay Bhansali. They visited his niece Sharmin Sehgal, who is Janhvi’s best friend. Sharmin lives with her family, sister Simran and parents Bela Sehgal (SLB’s sister) and Deepak Sehgal in the same building where his office is. The paps saw her coming out of the building and concluded the obvious,” the insider is quoted as telling Deccan Chronicle.

Apparently, Janhvi and Sharmin both went to the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles to study acting and have been inseparable ever since. Both are gearing up to make their big screen debut – while Janhvi will be launched opposite Ishaan Khatter in Dhadak, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will introduce his niece Sharmin in a film directed by Mangesh Hadawale.
