Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif are teaming up for a sequel to their 2014 flick Bang Bang, it seems. The film is to be titled Bang Bang Reloaded, and the makers have already registered the title. However, an official confirmation on the same is yet to arrive.

Bang Bang, that was the official adaptation of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz-starrer Knight and Day, was a blockbuster back in 2014. The film saw Hrithik and Katrina on the screen together after Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Last year, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez’s A Gentleman was mistaken for the sequel to Bang Bang. The makers, however, soon cleared the air and said that A Gentleman was not Bang Bang 2.

Now, Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand seems all set to take his 2014 film forward with the original cast.

Trade analyst Amul Mohan took to Twitter to share the news, “#Exclusive #News The makers of #BangBang have started working of its sequel it is learnt! The second outing has been titled #BangBangReloaded which they have registered this week ! #HrithikRoshan and #KatrinaKaif are likely going to be cast again!

2014’s Bang Bang was appreciated for its slick action sequences and Hrithik-Katrina’s chemistry. The film, however, received largely lukewarm to negative reviews.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan is busy shooting for mathematician Anand Sharma’s biopic, Super 30. He will also begin working on Krrish 4, that is set to hit the screens in 2020.

Katrina, on the other hand, is working on director Aanand L Rai’s Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma and director Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
