EXCLUSIVE! Salman Khan fans, get ready for the PERFECT Diwali gift as the first poster of Tiger Zinda Hai arrives next week
The biggest action spectacle of the year is coming at the fag end of the year. Yes, we are speaking about Tiger Zinda Hai, the much awaited sequel to 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger. Salman Khan will return as Tiger, a RAW agent on the run, while Katrina Kaif will reprise her role as the Pakistani secret agent in love with Tiger. Tiger Zinda Hai is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who has taken reins from Kabir Khan who has made the 2012 movie. Ali Abbas Zafar had earlier directed Katrina Kaif in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Salman Khan in last year’s blockbuster Sultan, both produced by YRF, who is also producing Tiger Zinda Hai.
Ali Abbas Zafar has been a frequent user of Twitter, and has often posted updates about the movie’s shoot details, better than the movie’s own PR team. But sometime back, the director just dropped a bomb on us, or rather, a hint of a bomb on us. He had tweeted, “Arre bhai Sabko pata hai 22 Dec ko @TigerZindaHai as rahi hai.Bahut kaam chal raha hai, abhi Diwali aa rahi hai… kuch gift toh milega 😉”
Now what does that mean? Well, as per a source close to the movie, we EXCLUSIVELY came to know that the makers are planning to release the first poster of the movieon Diwali. We also wonder if the teaser will be attached with Golmaal Again that is releasing on October 20, since Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan are good friends.
When director Ali Abbas Zafar was asked to comment on his experience shooting with Salman and Katrina for TZH, he said, “Shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai was gruelling, challenging and a whole lot of fun. We’ve shot across pristine, relatively unseen locations in Austria, Morocco and shot on a huge lot in Abu Dhabi along with other spots. Right from the infrastructure, to the support that the local military has given us, shooting here was smooth and a great collaborative experience. Tiger and Zoya’s second outing is going to be larger than life, and the shoot lives up to that.”
