Dabangg 3, starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, is directed by Prabhudeva

For the third time, Salman Khan came to the big screen as Chulbul Pandey on December 20. Dabangg 3 minted Rs 25.50 crore on the first day of its release.

The film made the most of its first weekend. It made Rs 25.75 crore on Saturday (December 21) and Rs 31.90 crore on Sunday (December 22). With the protest against Citizenship Amendment Act spurring in the country, the film suffered a bit in terms of box office collection.

On its second weekend, Dabangg 3 witnessed a slow down. It earned Rs 3.25 crore on Saturday (December 28) and Rs 4.50 crore on Sunday (December 29). The film is expected to make Rs 3 crore on Monday.

Dabangg 3’s biggest competition came in the face of Akshay Kumar’s Good Newwz. The film, which released in theatres on December 27, has been a success at the box office. It made a total amount of Rs 65.99 crore till Sunday.

Dabangg 3, which released on December 20, made a total sum of Rs 137.80 crore till Sunday.
