The grapevine has been abuzz that Ranveer Singh was all set to collaborate with director Rohit Shetty. In fact, when the actor dropped by on the sets of the filmmaker’s Golmaal Again, the rumours only gained momentum. Now, Rohit Shetty has confirmed to DNA that they are indeed coming together for a film.

“I am going to direct Ranveer very soon. The film will go on floors after he completes Padmavati and Zoya Akhtar’s film (Gully Boy). It is going to be a raw, action film,” the Singham director said.Reports suggested that the two will come together for the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit, Temper. However, there is no confirmation on the same.
Rohit Shetty also opened up about the box office clash between his Golmaal Again and Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar this Diwali. “We have clashed with some film or the other on every Golmaal release. There are only 52 Fridays in a year, so clashes will happen,” he said.
He added that Golmaal Again and Secret Superstar belonged to two completely different genres, and that the audience will be spoilt for choice on the Diwali weekend.
