Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh have had quite a start to their year with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The film not only won critical acclaim for the actors but also earned big at the ticket counters. It was the first time Alia and Ranveer shared the big screen and audiences were immensely impressed by their chemistry in Gully Boy.

The two will next be seen in Karan Johar’s periodic drama Takht which will go on floors soon. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar along with the two actors. But even before the duo has started their second film together, rumour has it, the two have signed another project, which will be their third together. Speculations are that the two liked the scripts and have gone on board for this big production house project.

No confirmations on the film have been made yet because the actors are busy with several other films before this one goes on floor. Alia is currently promoting the multi-starrer drama Kalank after which she starts promoting Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor. She will also be starting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Salman Khan and then S Rajamouli’s project. Ranveer, on the other hand is training for the Kapil Dev biopic, ‘83 which will release mid 2020.
