Ali Abbas Zafar Starts Prep For Salman Khan Starrer Bharat In Europe – Read Deets
Reports suggested that Salman Khan‘s upcoming film Bharat, which is helmed by Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar, kicks off in June but now we hear that Ali Abbas Zafar has already started prep for Salman’s Bharat in Europe. Reportedly, Ali has taken off to Europe on a recee, while his team is already in the Queen’s City doing their preliminary research.
The director will soon be starting the look tests with his leading man Salman Khan. In a statement to Mumbai Mirror, a source close to the development, said, “From there they will go into a full scout 0in Spain, Poland, Portugal and Malta. Additionally, there is heavy research with experts from abroad on the look and feel of the period from 1947 to 2010. The film will also be shot at Punjab, Delhi and Abu Dhabi.” Salman, who is currently shooting for the most anticipated film Race 3 (the third instalment of the Race franchise) in Bangkok, will take his Dabangg tour to Nepal once he wraps up the final schedule of Race 3 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The actor will be filming Dabangg and Bharat simultaneously. The source further told the daily. “Once back from his Bangkok shoot, Salman will take his Dabangg tour to Nepal with his co-stars, followed by the final schedule of Race 3 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He will be filming Dabangg 3 and Bharat simultaneously. Season 3 of his reality show Dus Ka Dum will start off around the same time.”
Salman Khan’s Bharat is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film, “Ode to My Father”, which narrates modern Korean history from the 1950s to the modern day through the life of an ordinary man and events such as the Hungnam Evacuation during the 1950 Korean War. The film will also depict the government’s decision to dispatch nurses and miners to West Germany in the ’60s and the Vietnam War.The 52-year-old actor will have not one but 5 transformations; he’ll be sporting five different looks with the help of prosthetics and VFX, since the film spans over 70 years from the 1940s. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and bankrolled by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, Bharat is all set to surprise you with a totally different side of Salman in Bharat.
