Achayans is an upcoming 2017 Indian Malayalam comedy film written and directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam. It stars Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Unni Mukundan, and Adil Ibrahim in lead roles.

Prakash Raj is concentrating more in direction and has been very selective in his roles of late. Director Kannan Thamarakulam had said that the actor immediately agreed to do the movie after hearing the script. His last movie in Malayalam was Amal Neerad’s Anwar starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead.

Amala Paul is back to Malayalam after a short break. She is seen in a tomboy look in this comedy suspense film. She even learns to drive a motorcycle for the movie.  Amala Paul’s character Rita is a bold girl. Anu Sithara and Sivada also play prominent roles in this movie directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam.

Principal photography began in November 2016, with shooting locations being Edakochi and Vagamon. It is scheduled to be released in March 2017.
