Kadaram Kondan first look: Kamal Haasan unveils Vikram’s terrific avatar
Kadaram Kondan first look: Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Film International is bankrolling the Vikram starrer along with Trident Arts.
Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan on Tuesday unveiled the first look poster of his next production, which has actor Vikram in the lead. The movie titled Kadaram Kondan features Vikram as a tattooed thug.
Earlier speculations were rife that the movie is a remake of Hollywood film Don’t Breathe. The filmmakers recently rubbished the rumors. But, the film is still said to be inspired by a Hollywood film, which the filmmakers are expected to reveal soon. The shooting of Kadaram Kondan is currently underway in Malaysia.
It’s worth noting that Director Rajesh M. Selva’s previous film Thoongaa Vanam, which had Kamal Haasan in the lead, was an official remake of French film Sleepless Night.
Kamal’s Raaj Kamal Film International is bankrolling the project along with Trident Arts. After Sathyaraj’s Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupadu, Revathy’s Magalir Mattum and R Madhavan’s Nala Damayanthi, it is the fourth film that Kamal Haasan is producing which will not star himself. Kadaram Kondan also stars Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara.
Composer Ghibran, who has become Kamal’s regular collaborator, is scoring the music for the film.
Vikram, meanwhile, is waiting for the release of director Gautham Menon’s spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram.
