Thugs of Hindostan: Amitabh Bachchan looks fierce as commander Khudabaksh
A day after releasing the logo of the much-anticipated film Thugs of Hindostan, the makers have now introduced one of the key characters from the action- adventure film. For the longest time, Thugs of Hindostan has been in news, and after much wait, the first look of Amitabh Bachchan is out.
The 25-second motion poster shows a eagle flying across a pirate ship. As it lands on a canon, we catch a glimpse of Khudabaksh, the commander of the Thugs, in full glory. Beard, unkempt hair, turban and piercing eyes, Amitabh Bachchan looks fierce as a commander in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s directorial venture.
Aamir Khan, who will share screen space with Big B for the first time in Thugs of Hindostan, took to Twitter to introduce the ‘biggest thug of all’.
Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug. Buzz has it that the trailer of Thugs of Hindostan will be out on Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary (September 27).
Thugs of Hindostan is said to be inspired by the thug culture in 19th century India.
The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is set to hit the screens on November 8.
