It’s been a while since Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone fans have been eagerly waiting to see this jodi on the big screen. While the two have expressed their desire to work with each other in the past, none of the filmmaker has been able to pull off this casting coup.

But if latest buzz is to be believed, this is about to change soon as Sanjay Leela Bhansali has shown interest in casting these two actors together for one of his upcoming projects.

It is no secret that Bhansali has found his muse in Deepika. After the super success of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, the
filmmaker is keen to work with Deepika once again. According to a report in a leading daily, Bhansali is planning to rope in Deepika for his next film, and
this time, he wants to work with Salman.

Earlier, a report in another leading daily revealed that Sanjay’s production house has registered the title Inshallah with Indian Motion Picture Producers
Association (IMPPA), and this could be the film in which the filmmaker is collaborating with Salman.

“Inshallah might be the title of the film that will reunite Sanjay and Salman. He got the title registered last week with IMPAA. And looking at Bhansali’s working style, he might take six to nine months to complete the final draft of the script, and he may start shooting by next year, after Salman is done with his other prior commitments including his next film, Bharat,” a source had told the daily.

The film is expected to hit the screens on Eid 2020.

If things go as planned, this will be Salman’s fourth collaboration with Sanjay.  It was in 2007 film Saawariya that Salman and Sanjay worked together.
