Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone likely to star in Bhansali’s next film
Shah Rukh Khan last collaborated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in one of the classic Hindi film Devdas which starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles. As per the reports by a leading Indian entertainment portal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan are likely to collaborate once again, as they have found an apt script to work together.
Buzz is that they will start the shooting of the film next year after the release of Padmavati. As per the reports, Deepika Padukone has been approached by Bhansali to play the lead role.
If reports turn out to be true, then this will mark the onscreen reunion of Deepika Padukone with Shah Rukh Khan for the third time. They were last seen together in the film Happy New Year and Chennai Express.
On the other hand, it was also reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to make a movie on the life of the famous poet Sahir Ludhianvi, however, the reports turned out to be false.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for Aanand L Rai’s untitled film which also has Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The film is scheduled to release next year during Christmas. Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma were last seen together in the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh will have a new release date. CBFC board is yet to certify the film. According to reports, the film will be reviewed by CBFC members and historians.
