Deepika Padukone And Katrina Kaif Buried The Hatchet At Shah Rukh Khan’s Bash?
Remember Shah Rukh Khan’s 52nd birthday bash at Alibaug which was attended by the who’s who from the industry? Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, who are reported to have some bad blood between them, were also present at the party. Interestingly, there was no awkwardness between the two since they were continuously flanked by their friends. Now we hear that Deepika initiated a conversation with Katrina and greeted her, as like she greeted all the others present there.
According to a weekly magazine, an eyewitness present at the party has revealed that while the two actresses exchanged pleasantries, the rest of the guests present in the room got pretty uncomfortable, perhaps worrying about what this ‘trying to patch-up’ brief conversation will lead to. To cover their awkwardness and break the sudden silence in the room, Shah Rukh indulged in a chat with little one Abram, while Sidharth Malhotra, who was also present there went on to fidget with his shoe. While everyone tried to ignore what was happening between Deepika and Katrina, it was Farah Khan, known to be quite outspoken to acknowledge what was happening.
Without any second thought, she announced loud and clear that she regretted not having her phone since now she has missed the opportunity of capturing the moment. The female director has worked with both the actresses and shares a great bond with them, so it was only natural that she was happy to see become friends, or at least try to. Looks like, the two actresses have come a long way since then. Reports coming in today suggest that Katrina has lent her support to Deepika’s film Padmavati, which is mired in controversy and was pushed to an indefinite release date from the initial slotted date, December 1. We just hope that the two actresses do bury the hatchet and leave scope for filmmakers to cast them together in a film. Oh, what a treat it will be!
