Shah Rukh Khan hinted at the Om Shanti om sequel in his Twitter conversation with Farah Khan.

It has been almost a decade since Om Shanti Om hit the theatres, but the film remains fresh in our minds. Who can forget Deepika Padukone’s “Ek chutki sindoor” or Shah Rukh Khan’s “Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho…”?

Om Shanti Om recently got adapted into a Japanese musical, and director Farah Khan attended the opening night in Osaka. She shared a photo of a jacket from the dress rehearsal on Twitter and wrote that the “awesome jacket” should have been made for Shah Rukh Khan in the film.

In true “picture abhi baaki hai mere dost” style, Shah Rukh replied that it was not too late, and that the jacket should find a place in the film’s sequel. “Arre yaar. Let’s do it in part 2 now. Last nite kids telling me how much they love OSO,” he tweeted.

Farah’s response showed that she may be open to the idea of a sequel. She said that Om Shanti Om was getting a lot of love even after 10 years, and she was overwhelmed by the response. So, is a sequel on the cards? Fans certainly hope so!
