Jagga Jasoos becomes Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s second highest opening weekend grosser after Raajneeti as a jodi

Jagga Jasoos is from the adventure musical space which has very rarely been explored by Bollywood. It has spent three days at the box office now and has made Rs 33.17 crore at the box office. And by doing so, Jagga Jasoos has become the second highest opening weekend grosser for Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif‘s jodi. The first spot is definitely been taken by Raajneeti.

Raajneeti released in 2010 and earned Rs 33.67 crore in its opening weekend. Boasting of a cast many had not seen in a film then, this Prakash Jha film was said to be a modern version of Mahabharat. The budget is pretty high for the film and such average collections will be its undoing. The film as of now has earned…

It remains to be seen what becomes of the film at the end. Jagga Jasoos has put up some crazy numbers in the coming week to make a difference. Also, the film has been released at limited screens which might have affected it a bit too.
