Rumoured lovebirds Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt are going to play the leads in the third instalment of Mohit Suri’s musical franchise, Aashiqui 3. After the critically acclaimed Kapoor and Sons, the real life couple is going to get together for the third Aashiqui.
Sidharth was spotted at Mohit Suri’s office a couple of times last week. Now, we know for what.

“Sid has been meeting Mohit Suri who will be directing Aashiqui 3. The two of them have been discussing the script and finalising everything because they plan to go on floors as soon as Sid is done with Aiyaary,” a source told DNA.

According to reports, Alia was also a part of one of the meetings. “Alia is also busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s next but it’s a smaller film with a start-to-finish schedule. Once she wraps up Meghna’s film, she will have some time on her hand before she begins work on Gully Boy in November. Mohit wants to shoot Aashiqui 3 in that time so they are planning to lock in on the script as soon as possible,” the source added.
On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra just wrapped up Dharma Productions’ Ittefaq. He is also busy shooting for director Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary.
